3rd  and 4th September 2016

Our friends at Wolverhampton Amateur Radio Society (WARS) will again be taking part in the 1940's themed week-end activities at Bantock Museum. There will be a range of Ham Radio equipment on view, and club members will be operating various types. There will be demonstrations of sending messages in morse code, and voice contacts will be made with other amateurs in the UK, and world wide if conditions are favourable. Visitors will be able to "send a message" and information how to take up this interesting hobby will be available.

 

12th November 2016

Our 3rd annual Barn Dance will be on the 12th November, and this year will be held in the Performance Space at Bantock House Museum. Music will again be provided by The New Corona Band, There will be a licensed bar, and food will be available.

Doors will open at 7.00 pm, with dancing starting at 8.00 pm untill 11.00 pm.There is free on site car parking.

21st March 2017

The AGM will be held on Tuesday 21st. March at 6.30 pm., to be held at Smestow School, and will be followed by an open public meeting.

1st July 2017

Our 4th. Annual canal cruise will be on Saturday 1st July, departing Wildside centre, Whitmore Reans Sat 4.00 pm, to The Fox & Anchor, Coven. The private dining area is booked. Complimentary drink on outwards journey, coffee and mints on return journey.

Tickets limited to 25 and will cost £10.00 ea., and no concessions.

A  pre - order menu will be available nearer the day. Early booking is advised.

29th October 2017

Girl Shy (1924) - Film with live piano accompaniment - Sunday 29th October 2017. Bantock Park Tractor Shed 4.30pm-5.50pm. A great of the silent era, Harold Lloyd stars in one of the most important and influential films of all time. Tickets £5 each, family ticket £15 (2 adult, 2 child) from:

Midland Box Office, and from Bradmore Wines, Trysull Road, Bradmore.
